Boat Trailer Towing Services Require Heavy Duty Equipment

The business of boat trailer towing is no laughing matter, and it requires heavy-duty equipment, skilled drivers, and professional handling. It’s no secret that any type of boat, may it be a speedboat or yacht, is expensive to buy, maintain and repair, and so the utmost care must be observed when towing a boat of any kind. Damaging vehicles during towing operations happens a lot more than owners might expect, which is something we always hope to avoid. That’s the reason why not all towing companies offer towing services to boats—they require a specialized type of equipment and a different set of skills from those normally expected of tow truck drivers. Lucky for our potential clients in Lake Anna Va, we offer this oft-sought-for but ever-elusive service in the area, so our customers can take their boats out for a sail, and rest assured that we’ll be ready to assist them in case they ever need a quick tow of their boats in case of accidents or emergencies while out in the sea.

We Arrive On Time and Respond Quickly!

Just as with our other types of towing services, we’re well aware that time is of the essence in boat trailer towing. It’s even more challenging to communicate with customers out in the open sea who might be in need of immediate assistance, so calls requesting boat trailer towing are prioritized and are treated as emergencies. As we know that in dire situations, it can even be a matter of life or death for our customers, we make sure to respond quickly, act swiftly, and arrive on time to a customer in need of a boat trailer towing service.

Our Professional Boat Trailer Operators Are Trained and Equipped To Respond to Any Situation

But of course, our services won’t amount to anything if our boat trailer operators weren’t equipped to meet any challenge head-on. As such, all our designated boat trailer operators are skilled and continuously trained to handle any emergency they might encounter when it comes to towing boats out in the sea or those already docked.

Lake Anna is one of the largest freshwater inland reservoirs in Virginia, covering an area of 13,000 acres (53 km2), and located 72 miles (116 km) south of Washington, D.C. in Louisa and Spotsylvania counties (and partially in Orange County at the northern tips). The lake is easily accessible from Fredericksburg, Richmond, Charlottesville, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C., and is one of the most popular recreational lakes in the state.

The reservoir is formed by the North Anna Dam on the North Anna River at 38°00′47″N 77°42′46″W.

In 1968, Virginia Electric and Power Company (now Dominion) purchased 18,000 acres (73 km2) of farmlands in three counties along the North Anna and Pamunkey rivers to provide clean, freshwater to cool the nuclear power generating plants at the North Anna Nuclear Generating Station adjacent to the lake.

By 1972 the lake bottom was cleared of all timber and the dam was nearing completion. It was projected to take three years to completely fill the lake, but with the additional rainfall from Hurricane Agnes, the lake was full in only 18 months.

The first communities broke ground at about that same time and now some 120 different communities dot the shores of the lake.

In June 1978, the first of the two reactors went into commercial operation. The second unit followed in December 1980.
