Using Flatbed Tow Trucks
It is often a risky and challenging job to move a vehicle from one place to another. During the transport process, a lot of things can happen or can go wrong if it is not properly done. For instance, if another car is used to drag a vehicle on the road, debris can cause scratches and nicks in the paint and may even lead to transmission or wheel damage.
When there is a vehicle-related accident or malfunction and there is a need to move a stalled vehicle, hiring the services of a towing company is the best option. Flatbed tow trucks are used to transport vehicles easier. Using a flatbed tow truck is the best way to move vehicles because of the following reasons:
- A flatbed tow truck is able to handle any type of vehicle, whatever its condition, weight, and shape. It is versatile enough to load a variety of vehicles, even the most severely damaged ones.
- It is the safest option because the risk of damage is pretty low as all four wheels of the vehicle are placed on the flat surface of the truck.
- Loading is easier and it saves time. All it takes is to drive the car up the flatbed and secure it. If the car is so damaged that it can’t be driven up the flatbed, then a winch can be used to load it.

Barboursville VA
Barboursville is a village in Cabell County, West Virginia, United States. It is located near the second-largest city in the state, Huntington Toll House.
There is a “trail” through Barboursville that showcases many of its historic buildings.
One such structure is an old toll house dating to the pre-Civil War era.
Other landmarks include the Veterans’ Home, Barboursville Elementary and Middle Schools (both schools have been rebuilt), and Barboursville Park, which serves as a popular recreation area for residents of the area.
Barboursville is located near US Route 60, which follows the route of the historic Midland Trail.
The Barboursville Park is another major attraction within the Village.
It encompasses more than 750 acres and has soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, fishing ponds, walking trails, equestrian trails, horse show rings, and an amphitheater.
And Barboursville was once the plantation of the Barbour family. The house, now ruined, was originally designed by Thomas Jefferson.
The property was owned by James Barbour, a friend of Jefferson who served as Governor of Virginia, Secretary of War, and minister to Great Britain.
In 1810, the two brick cottages that are still on the property were built for the Barbour family to live in while the main house was constructed.
The main house of the Barbour plantation was begun in 1814 and finished in 1822, built entirely from bricks made on the Barbour plantation.
The house included a two-story hexagonal reception room and an octagonal drawing-room; Jefferson’s drawings also included an octagonal dome that was not built.
On Christmas Day, 1884, the house burned. After the fire, the Barbour family descendants lived in the original brick cottages on the property, which remained in the family until 1945. The ruins of the main house have been stabilized and preserved.
Today the property is part of Barboursville Vineyards; the ruins of the house can be visited free of charge.
